FAQ

Can I share access to one or more locks?

A: Yes, you can easily share access by sharing the password specific to the lock. The person who needs access can add the lock, enter the password, and give it a name of his/her choice. Remember the password is stored on the lock.

Is the lock and app compatible with both iOS and Android devices?

A: Yes, our app is developed for both iOS and Android, and most phones have an NFC antenna. Please note that phones may have their NFC antennas placed in different locations. If you experience connection issues the first few times, it might be a good idea to check where the antenna is located.

When should I change the battery?

A: The LED will flash red three times when it's time to change the battery. You will still be able to use the lock approximately 300 more times before the battery is depleted. After that, you won't be able to close the shackle.

How do I replace the battery?

A: You can easily replace the battery yourself using an Allen/Hex
key. The battery model required (½ triple A) is (soon) available in our shop.

What does the LED signal indicate?

A: The LED has two colors. A regular bright light indicates that the lock has received a correct signal from the smartphone. A red light indicates either an incorrect password or a low battery level.

Is my lock water-resistant?

A: The lock has been tested for water and dust resistance according to the IP53 standard (spray water and dust resistant), which can withstand light rain. It can also tolerate temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius.

How do I reset or change settings on my lock?

A: Simply locate the lock in the settings and choose "Change
password." Enter the new password and confirm it to reset or change the settings.

What should I do if I lose my phone?

A: If you lose your phone, you can download the app onto a new or different smartphone. Then, using the ProximiKey Reset Card, which can be found in the settings, you can restore access. Alternatively, if you remember your password, you can simply enter it to set up the lock again.

Can I open the lock without my phone in case of a dead battery?

A: Unfortunately, no. You need an electronic device, specifically a smartphone, to open the lock.

Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without stating a reason within 14 days. The withdrawal period will expire 14 days after the day you receive your product. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly within the specified period. You can do this by contacting us via the contact form or by email: support@proximikey.xyz

Returns

If you decide to withdraw from your purchase, you must return the product in substantially the same condition and quantity as when you received it. We also offer a 60-day money-back guarantee, allowing our customers to return the product within the first
60 days if they are not satisfied and receive a full refund. However, you are responsible for the return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed

Payment

We accept various payment methods, including VISA, dankort, MasterCard and MobilePay (DK). All transactional fees are included. Payment must be completed before we can process and ship your order. We will not withdraw before the order has been confirmed. All prices are listed in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. All payments are securely handled by the payment provider.

Delivery/Shipping

We strive to process and ship your order as quickly as possible but expect 1-4 business days before the order is shipped from our location. The delivery time may vary depending on the destination and chosen shipping method. We typically ship the products using PostNord, GLS or dao. The shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address. Any customs duties or other fees associated with international delivery are the buyer's responsibility.
